How to Style a Green Linen Slip Dress with Charm Jewelry | The Outfit Bank No. 003 - The Art Of Styling

I love the ease of a linen dress in the summer, and this green linen slip dress is exactly the kind of piece I want to reach for on a hot day. It's lightweight, flowy, and effortless, but linen does come with one small challenge: the wrinkles. I'm still deciding whether I'll have it taken in slightly at the waist to give the dress a little more shape while keeping its beautiful movement.
I paired it with bright glass charms on my Hayden Hoops, red jelly flats, and a black shoulder bag. The colorful charms bring a playful contrast to the soft green of the linen and make the simple silhouette feel more intentional.
I also layered a snake necklace with a chunky gold heart for a little more texture and shine. I love the heart because it adds a bold detail without needing much else.
The Hayden Hoops are one of my favorite pieces to style because they're designed to be interchangeable. I can switch out the charms depending on what I'm wearing, which makes the hoops feel like a completely different pair of earrings from one outfit to the next. Bright glass charms for summer, something more neutral for fall, or a single statement charm when I want the jewelry to do more of the talking.
For me, that's the appeal of building a wardrobe around versatile pieces. The dress may be simple, but changing the jewelry can completely change the feeling of the outfit.
