FAQ
How should I take care of my jewelry?
*CERACHARM jewelry with "Hypoallergenic" or "Water Safe" in the product description have been crafted to withstand a greater deal of day to day wear and tear compared to those without. As with any item that is gold plated, the product will fade with time (though at a slower rate) but will not rust or discolor skin.
Always store your jewelry pieces individually so that they don’t rub together, scratch or tangle. Preferably in our CERACHARM WLBNJ box or pouch.
Jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.
Jewelry is particularly susceptible to damage from the effects of chemicals present in perfume, hairspray, make-up, nail polish remover, body oils, sun tan lotion and deodorant, therefore keep it away from these items.
Do not swim or shower while wearing gold-plated or silver jewelry, and remove rings when washing your hands. Chlorine, salt water and fresh water can damage jewelry by dulling or eroding them. Gold and silver are particularly susceptible to damage from chlorine, which can permanently damage or discolor them. Soapy water when bathing and showering can also leave a thin film, which makes the metal seem dull.
How should I clean my jewelry?
Clean your jewelry carefully with a soft, non-abrasive and lint-free cloth, this helps maintain or bring back its shine. CERACHARM "Water Safe" options can be washed with a gentle soap and rinsed with water to revive shine.
